Holts Gun Gum: What A Product!
Sirs,
A gun gum user since my very first days in my automotive hobby, today has seen some special use for this “magic” paste. Having collected a fairly rotten VW bus bought on eBay, this machine suddenly lost power. The reason being the acceleration pedal falling straight down through the cabin floor!
With my “disaster recovery” kit always at hand, the only way to bridge the hole and fix the pedal for a good 100 miles more was gun gum bandage and paste, layered crosswise on the floor and building a sturdy foundation for then “laminating” the pedal base onto that makeshift spot repair. Engine on, heater running, and that spot dried up and hardened in no time.
I did make it in time to my appointment and once again, Gun Gum has proven to be even more valuable than using it merely as a profane exhaust repair paste.
