Holts Spray Grease: Saved a Perfectly Good Fan
Ok, I gave it a try and the fan is now working more or less like new.
I applied some of your spray grease at the point where the shaft exits the bearing and waited for it to penetrate. After 15 minutes or so, the fan worked properly without me having to “spin it up.” Then I left the fan alone for over a week to see if the grease would stiffen or dissipate. Apparently it didn’t since the fan started up fine after that and continues to work well.
Needless to say I am very pleased with your product and will recommend it.
By the way, the fan in question had been discarded by someone in the office since it had stopped working, and I found it next to the trash.
Your product saved a perfectly good fan from ending up in a landfill.
