VACANCY – MECHANICAL ENGINEER

We are going through a period of growth and have a number of opportunities across our sites in Newquay.

We currently have a vacancy for a Mechanical Engineer at our Manufacturing Plant in Newquay, Cornwall.

ROLE DETAILS

37.5 hours per week

7.45am – 4.15pm Monday to Friday

From £28,000 – £34,000 + bonus

(Depending on experience)

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Provide preventative & reactive mechanical maintenance
  • Work with company CMMS
  • Maintain mechanical maintenance PM’s & schedule
  • Work with the Engineering Manager to ensure activities comply with relevant standards and legislation
  • Support Capital projects and installation work

You will have:

  • A safety-first attitude

Experience required:

  • Previous experience within a mechanical engineering role – mandatory
  • Experience in the FMCG/Manufacturing – mandatory
  • Formal mechanical engineering qualifications – mandatory (Minimum City & Guilds or equivalent)
