We currently have a vacancy for a Mechanical Engineer at our Manufacturing Plant in Newquay, Cornwall.
37.5 hours per week
7.45am – 4.15pm Monday to Friday
From £28,000 – £34,000 + bonus
(Depending on experience)
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will:
- Provide preventative & reactive mechanical maintenance
- Work with company CMMS
- Maintain mechanical maintenance PM’s & schedule
- Work with the Engineering Manager to ensure activities comply with relevant standards and legislation
- Support Capital projects and installation work
You will have:
- A safety-first attitude

- A continuous Improvement mindset
- An effective communication style
- Previous experience within a mechanical engineering role – mandatory
- Experience in the FMCG/Manufacturing – mandatory
- Formal mechanical engineering qualifications – mandatory (Minimum City & Guilds or equivalent)
