Your Waterless Wash and Wax FAQs Answered

Simoniz Waterless Wash and Wax provides an effective and convenient way to keep your car clean without the need for a full wash. Learn more about how it works and how to use it in our FAQs guide below.

How to use waterless car cleaners?

Waterless car cleaners, like Simoniz Wash and Wax, allow you to clean and protect your car without giving it a full wash. Perfect for those with little time on their hands, you can get great results in a matter of minutes – all without filling a bucket or plugging in a pressure washer.

Simoniz Waterless Wash and Wax is a spray-on, wipe-off cleaning solution for your car. Simply apply it to the paintwork and wipe off for a streak-free finish in minutes.

What sets our Waterless Wash and Wax product apart from other waterless car cleaners is that it contains carnauba wax – the same ingredient used in our other wax-based products. That means you won’t only clean your car but protect it too, all in one product.

To get the best results from Simoniz Waterless Wash and Wax, we’d recommend using it between full washes, when your car isn’t heavily soiled. If your paintwork is covered in mud, grit, and salt, we’d always recommend giving it a proper wash, as you’ll need to rinse off these harmful deposits with a pressure washer or hose.

Using Simoniz Wash and Wax is simple. Just spray on, leave for a minute, or so, and then use a soft microfibre cloth to wipe, leaving your paintwork clean, shiny and protected.

Is Waterless Wash and Wax effective?

It sure is! Like all Simoniz products, Waterless Wash and Wax has undergone hours of rigorous testing to make sure it meets our high standards. Our experts have devised the best formula for waterless car cleaning, so you’re guaranteed great results with minimal effort.

Ideal for quick car cleaning on your drive, Waterless Wash and Wax can remove marks and restore your car’s shine anywhere, anytime. The product is safe to use on all exterior surfaces – including wheels and plastic trim – so you can get a whole car clean in a matter of minutes.

Please note, however, that Simoniz Waterless Wash and Wax isn’t suitable for heavily soiled cars. If your paintwork is covered in dirt or tough deposits like bird poo, you’ll need to remove this first with a pressure washer or hose to make sure grit doesn’t scratch the surface.

We developed Simoniz Wash and Wax as a convenient way to clean and restore your paintwork in between full washes. It’s not a replacement for regular sponge-and-bucket car cleaning, but should be used to restore your car’s shine as and when required.

Is waterless cleaning good for cars?

Using a product like Simoniz Waterless Wash and Wax is a fantastic way to clean and protect your car between full washes and coats of wax. With regular use, you can ensure your car always looks its best and is kept fully protected from the elements.

It’s not always easy to find time to wash your car, especially in the autumn and winter when days are short and there’s often a chance of rain. Simoniz Waterless Wash and Wax is a great solution for quick, convenient car cleaning – helping you wash and protect the paintwork without spending hours with a bucket, sponge, and pressure washer.

And it’s not just time that makes Waterless Wash and Wax so convenient. With only the bare minimum of tools required, you can clean your car practically anywhere – ideal if you don’t have a drive, live in a flat, or simply don’t have access to a pressure washer or hose.

Using waterless cleaning products to clean your car shouldn’t cause any damage, provided you follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Waterless car cleaners shouldn’t be used as a replacement for regular full cleaning; they’re an in-between-washes solution that makes it easy to keep your car looking its best.
