A warm welcome to Chlöe Foster who joins the team of product experts in the Holts R&D laboratory.
After completing her Masters degree in Chemistry, Chlöe joined Holts in June 2022. Her main focus will be centred around our screen wash and de-icer products – mainly product ranges from the Prestone brand.

I’m an R&D Technician
What does an R&D Technician do?
I carry out product testing and development of formulations. I also carry out research into new ideas and answer customer queries.
What did you do before joining Holts?
I was a student at the University of Central Lancashire doing a Masters of Chemistry
What do you like most about your career?
I like how hands-on my new role is and the range of different tasks that are incorporated into it on a day to day basis. I also enjoy that I am constantly learning and getting to use this new knowledge.
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I like to do long distance running as well as running Parkrun every Saturday
What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
I enjoy watching rugby and Formula 1, as well as going to see my local cricket team play.
What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
Suncream, McDonald’s Chicken Nuggets, and the Harry Potter books.
