We are looking for a Content Marketing Executive to join the marketing team at Holt Lloyd to support our Digital Marketing Manager and the wider team in primarily creating highly effective digital marketing collateral that supports our marketing objectives.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the creation of a wide variety of digital content including (but not limited to) short form and long form video, social media assets, website graphics, and e-shots across all 4 of our UK brands alongside France and Germany.

You will be collaborating primarily with the Digital Marketing Manager on a daily basis to ensure that content production aligns effectively with our wider digital activity and marketing plans, as well as ensuring that high quality content and assets are produced on a regular and consistent basis – as per the needs of the business.

Experience and demonstrable ability in video shooting, staging, storyboarding, editing, and production is essential. Someone who is confident to get in front of the camera too, would be desirable. Overall, you’ll be well versed in using the most common video editing software and comfortable with creating a diverse collection of videos.

Extensive knowledge of using the Adobe design suite is required to be successful in this position.

The Content Marketing Executive will have excellent design skills and will be able demonstrate a portfolio of eye-catching content and creative digital assets. Alongside these essential design skills, this role also requires excellent time management. You will need to take juggle several projects and activities at once to ensure that content deadlines are met on time.

  • Video Content Creation – Proven ability to create and manage all aspects of video content creation both in short form and long form – shooting, editing, staging, storyboarding. This is a video-heavy role.
  • Image Content Creation – Extensive knowledge of the Adobe Design Suite and the ability to create digital graphics quickly to support owned and customer digital channels (in-use / in-situ / lifestyle images). A strong creative flair is a must.
  • Time Management – Organised person with the ability to closely manage the content production schedule effectively and strives to hit deadlines.
  • Social Media Marketing – Experience managing company social media accounts, especially video heavy channels such as Instagram and TikTok. Experience as social media content creator is desirable.
  • Creative Mind – Out of the box, creative thinker – able to take a simple brief and make a project come alive.
  • Marketing Experience – A contextual knowledge of marketing – understanding of how and why their work fits into marketing strategy.
  • Team Player – Able to collaborate with the wider marketing team and technical team to ensure content is appropriate and technically accurate.
  • A great communicator who shares thoughts and knowledge readily
  • Innovation – Stay up to date with emerging digital tools (particularly AI) – make suggestions on tools that might improve our effectiveness and/or efficiency in creating content.
  • Enthusiastic Self Starter – Regularly shares their own ideas for great content.


Essential

  • Strong background in Video Content production
  • Excellent design skills
  • Extensive experience using Adobe Design Suite and common video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects etc.)
  • 2-3 years previous content marketing / content creator experience
  • Previous social media management experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Time management
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work in-office and remotely
  • Full UK Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle

  • SEO Knowledge
  • Experience of WordPress CMS
  • Social media advertisement and segmentation
  • Marketing (or related) degree and/or CIM Qualification
  • French and / or German language proficiency
  • Interest and/or experience in vehicle maintenance

  • Min. GCSE English A*- C Grade
  • Degree level qualification is preferred
  • CIM Level 4 or above is preferred
