SIOP Data Analyst
Location: Head office, Trafford Park, Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 + Excellent Benefits
Role Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the SIOP Data Analyst will:
- Maintain forecasts for the UK and European Sales Team, uploading into SAP, as and when required, to facilitate accurate data within the system for production with respect to short, mid and long-term planning.
- Act as primary link between Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement and Production teams; highlighting major forecast changes.
- Organise regular supply/forecast reviews with key customers and the sales teams to assess and discuss any issues which may impact supply and production.
- Develop initiatives to improve forecast accuracy levels.
- Work closely with the Marketing department with reference to the product lifecycle. Supporting the Supply Chain Manager, ensure that all new product introductions and promotions are updated in a timely manner. Ensure products on phase out have a clean exit plan. Communicate timelines to wider stakeholders.
- Attend and contribute to key customer business events, to build strong relationships and to ensure collaborative working

- Take ownership of safety stock & safety time parameters to ensure strong availability whilst minimising working capital.
- Support the Supply Chain Manager within the Rationalisation Team on the costs individual materials add to the business to ensure every material can stand up for itself.
- Ensure data downloads are completed on-time in line with the SIOP calendar.
- Measure forecast accuracy at key account, ABCD categories & SKU levels. Provide reports to the business on forecast accuracy performance and rationale for key misses.
- Facilitate and chair monthly SIOP reviews with sales and supply chain teams.
- Work with sales team and Supply Chain Manager to launch feature displays with 3rd party contractors.
- Work with sales team and Supply Chain Manager to continuously improve how the business executes promotional activity, winter plans from a forecasting, supply chain and production plant perspective.
- Use supplier data to interrogate forecasts and challenge customer stock holding to ensure maximum availability on shelf.
- Complete standard company monthly reports including pallet, stock holding & PA3 inventory.
- Provide support to colleagues to cover absence.
Experience Required
- Previous experience in a FMCG environment.
- Relevant Business degree, or equivalent.
- Strong SAP knowledge required
- Intermediate/advanced Excel experience required – ability to manipulate and analyse data using tools such as vlook-ups, pivot tables, etc.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Supply Chain and factors that influence supply and demand.
